Ann, I would like to ask you to look up some names for me at you leisure. I haven't really got any first names of any relatives but all of my relatives were either in NC or VA during 1812 and before so maybe there will be one listed. I need a jumping off point and maybe something will snag here! The Virginia crowd: Waldron, Beavers, Altizer (from around Tazewell, Russell Counties etc),Martin, Phipps, Kincer,(from around Wythe and Grayson County area) and the Allens of Greensville or Brunswick counties. The North Carolina lines would all be from either Warren or Halifax areas: Neal, Ivey, Medlin, Holdford, Garner, Hawkins This looks like a large request and I do hope that I am not being greedy with your gracious offer to look up these folks.
