I am looking for Edward Jones, born between 1780-1790 in VA. Not sure where in VA exactly. Rumor has it he was in the Militia with Capt. Piper's Regiment., War of 1812. He died in Delaware Cty, OH about 1856. Apparently he was an overseer on VA plantations after the war. He was granted a land warrant but never made use of it. ANY information on his service, really anything would be appreciated. Thank you.
