Hello, Thank you for looking. Union Cemetery in Brockton is not posted on Rootsweb. But I have been trying to get it posted. That is where Jarvis is buried. Thank you for the vital information. I didn't know that Jarvis was born in Boston. His children where. Incidentally Jarvis and his daughter in law Abigail (Howard) WHITE and his grandchild Annie Mason WHITE and he all passed away in 1878. I believe there was an epedemic of Yellow Fever that year. His son Henry Jarvis WHITE then disappeared from the family. Is there somewhere I could look to see where he is listed on a Roll Call for the Navy for the War of 1812? Thank you Sincerely, Margaret King Waltham, MA Smileson@aol.com wrote: > Try looking here: list of cemeteries > > http://www.rootsweb.com/~usgenweb/ma/mafiles.htm#Plymouth > * > =============================== > Jarvis WHITE* > emp Sprague's livery stable, bds R R row > Springfield, MASS City Directory 1864-65 > page 196 > -------------------------- > > *Jarvis White* > B: 1795 > Boston, Suffolk, MA > D: 6 May 1878 > Brockton, MA > > *Mary Stoddard Littlefield* > B: 7 Apr 1819 > E Stoughton, MA > D: 25 Mar 1914 > Brockton, MA > > > Name: * Jarvis White* > Estimated Birth Year: abt 1796 > Age in 1870: 74 > Birthplace: Massachusetts > Home in 1870: North Bridgewater, Plymouth, Massachusetts > Race: White > Gender: Male > Post Office: North Bridgewater > Roll: M593_639 > Page: 547 > Image: 259 > Year: 1870 > > > > > >
