Can anyone help me with a listing and any other information (the more the better, of course!) about this name? I believe he was my earliest know ancestor and was born about 1786 in either VA (Union Co.) or KY (Green Co.), married Rhoda Bloyd 1809 Green Co., KY, had sons named Hiram and Armstrong (I found others with these names in War of 1812 which are probably kin, but can find no proof). Can actual records be obtained that might give family info? If so how and where, etc. I am new to military research so pardon me if I ask a silly question here...:-) Thanks for any help, LOUISE BIAS-HILL
