My gggGradfather Samuel Hunter was born Jan1, 1791 and fought in war of 1812. He enlisted 25 Jan 1814 through 10 May 1814 from Smith County Tennessee. He was a private under Capt William Douglass. 3rd Regiment of Tennessee Militia. Colonel Stephen Copeland. Can anyone tell me if he was at the Battle of Horseshoe Bend?
