Even any links to sites that might list veterans of Montgomery Co., KY. I am in search of any records to prove service of: Thomas Dinsmore [or any other Dinsmore's from the same county] John D. The work 'Kentucky Soldiers of the War of 1812' by the Adjutant General, 1891, has: Dinsmore, Jacob Private, November 20, 1814 - May 20, 1815. Captain James Robison's Company, Kentucky Detached Militia. Does not say where it was from nor organized. No other names with that surname. Nobody listed with the name of Fear.
