The military service records which I received from NARA say that my ancestor, Joel Farnham (Farnam), died from his wounds on Mar. 4, 1814, at Brownsville Hospital in New York. Could anyone explain if this Brownsville would have been in Brooklyn, NY or is it the Brownsville on the Black River near Sackett's Harbor? Is there a military cemetery near Brownsville where he might be buried? Thank you, Elizabeth
