    3. The work 'Kentucky Soldiers of the War of 1812' by the Adjutant General, 1891, has: Meek, Joseph Private. Captain Thompson Ward's Company of Lieutenant Robert Pogue's Regiment Kentucky Militia. August 27, 1812 - September 20, 1812. There is also a James Meek, same data. No county listed; no age.
