    3. I have checked the list of soldiers that fought in the War of 1812 and have noticed that there is a 26th Reg. and a 28th Reg. but no 27th Reg. of the U.S. Infantry. My g-g-g grandfather was a Captain of that Regiment. My g-g-g grandmother Harriet A. Reynolds gave a sworn affidavit on January 12th, 1838 that Allen C, Reynolds was a Captain of the 27th Reg. of the U.S. Infantry. Inscribed on pension llst roll of N.Y. Agency. He was to receive $20.00 per month to commence on June 12, 1815. Signed to George Graham, Acting Secretary of War. Does anyone know where I can find the 27th Reg. of the Infantry of the War of 1812 records.? Perhaps it just hasn't been added to the list as yet. There must have been a 27th Reg. It just stand to reason if there was a 26th and a 28th that there must havea been a 27th. Could the records have been lost? Any information would be appreciated. Sincerely, L.Scott quenci@sbcglobal.net
