I need some help, if possible. I recently joined the S A R, and my sister the D A R. Now fellow members of the S A R want me to join the War of 1812 Society. I have not figured out how to start looking. I looked at my side of the family and did not find any grandparents or uncles who served. I believe I had some, as I had a lot of relatives in the New Orleans area about that time. I could use some tips on how to locate them, by using my ancestors in the S A R if possible. Regards, George
