    3. I have just finished a trip to New England and Western Pa fowling my Collins roots. It turned out to be very sucessful. I located the cemeteries where my ggg grandfather Lysander Collins, DOB 09/12/1791 and ggg uncle Anson Collins, DOB 05/08/1779 were buried. I located them in separate cemeteries in Crawford and Venango Counties Pa. At both grave locations where these two men are buried I found markers place by the graves indicating that they fought in the War of 1812. Their father, Elisha Collins, who's grave site I also located in Willsboro, NY had no marker to indicate he was soldier in the Revolutionary War. However, I was able to go on line, DAR, and locate information on him serving in the Revolutionary War. So far I have been unable to find any information on Lysander or Anson Collins being in the War of 1812. I have not filed a request with the National Archives as yet due to the fact it has to be mailed in. If there is anyone that has any information as to how I can obtain information or documents on line that Lysander and Anson Collins are list on the rolls of the War of 1812 it would be greatly appreciated. Respectively, Charlie Gentis Corona, Cal

    3. Charlie, Anson & Lisander are both listed in the NARA indexes in Miller's 36 Regt. of New York Militia. I believe this Regt was out of Clinton County, New York. Anson was a Matross and his archive #'s are 43-2059. Lisander was a private with archive #'s 43-2479. There were also a Thomas and Timothy Collins serving in ths Regt.
