Can anyone please tell me how I can find the pension records for my gggg-grandfather, Joel Farnham, who fought in the War of 1812? According to the "History of Coos County, Town of Lancaster" (New Hampshire), he was a Private with the US Regiment Infantry in the Roster of Captain John W. Weeks. Ancestry.com said he enlisted March 9, 1813, was placed on the pension roll May 16, 1818 and his commencement of pension was Feb. 17, 1815.
