Hi Rachael: Saw this message and thought I'd send in my two-cents. Where did your Charles Stuart live and serve? Do you know his parents' or sibling names? My gggg grandmother Temperance Stuart was born circa 1750's, I believe born in Stamford, CT or Mansfield, CT, and married Ezekiel Newman. Their married life was in Bedford, Westchester Co., NY and later they moved to Tioga Co., NY near the PA border. They died in that area. Any bells ring there?
