Hi to everyone I am looking for information on the following two family members and I hope that someone knows about them or can direct me in the right direction. It appears that Capt John B Pit(t)man is one of these "mounted volunteer riflemen" also shown is a sergeant William S/L Pit(t)man. It seems they are related. They could be the Pittman brothers that should be living in the Clark County area around the 1800 time period. I have had a look at some groups of these type soldiers in the Illinois records but could not find them. I thank you for your time and attention, Ora
