    3. In October 1913, Samuel Crawley (White Co. TN?) enlisted in the 7th U.S. Army Infantry under the command of a Capt. McClelland. I would like to know the identity of this captain and know the battle history of this regiment during the War of 1812. Samuel had served in the 2nd Tennessee Volunteer Infantry from December 1812 through April 1913. He died while in the service in April 1914 in New Orleans. Any help would be greatly appreciated! jhmcclure@joplin.com
