Patrick and list, since I had an old laptop with out USB port, I had to purchased a laptop. I found one at Wal_Mart that had been returned. I purchased it very reasonable and used the Bearpaws 1200 CU scanner that I had. It worked for me. I had discovered some copies that I had got it the past had become unreadable. At least this way, I have a good copy of the original. The Bearpaw scanner I purchased several years ago for under fifty dollars at Ames before they closed. I think a digital camera might do better but I did not have the time to learn with one. it was task enough to get everything in order to work.
