You can bring your camera, digital and Video, scanner and computer in to the research room on the second floor. this is the area where the pension files, and other records are brought to. You can not take anything else. I was surprised last year when I visited. The archivist indicated that more electrical changes were coming. I do not think there is much limit to what can be taken in the area where you view the microfilm. By the way my genealogy program triples in size, not from adding new names but form the records I scanned. I have war of 1812 records from several years back that I have not got put in my files but the ones I did this year are.
