Benj D. Sniffin served in Captain John Castles NY Militia as a Prviate in the War of 1812. He first married Maria Northway and married a Serena in 1853. They lived in Chemung County, NY in 1850 until his death in 1872 ot thereabouts. Does anyone have any inf on this unit or this individual. Marilyn
