I believe the book does says Dobbins unit. there are several who later appear in Bradford,County, PA in the same unit. I will have to get a list of them. You probably have not idea where this Downs would have been from. By the way I have several War of 1812 pension files, mostly Carson, Hyatt. Drown, Shaver.
