I am interested in the WEIR name because my husbands gggrandmother was Jane Weir who married Andrew Crawford. They were married in Botetourt Co., VA and lived in McMinn Co. TN. My thinking is that it isn't inconceivable that they may have been related in some way to the Weir families who lived in McMinn and therefore I have been collecting information on the Weir name in McMinn.
