His name was Robert Napoleon Ware and my g-grandfather was James "Collie" Ware (mid name was Colin or Colen - my middle name is Colon, a misspelling of his...). Grandpa Collie and his brother John came from Mississippi (we believe Meridian area) and settled in SW La., specifically, in Beauregard Parish in and around Ragley/Longville/DeRidder. My grandfather, known as "Uncle Bob" was born in 1892 and married Sina Maybelle Cooley, "Aunt Mae", who was born in 1899. He had several brothers and sisters, among them Carl and Annie... I have not been able to locate James or John in the 1900 census info... I have other info if you like. Feel free to send on to me your info since I am searching around anyway... I use genealogy.com and rootsweb primarily... My mother was Lillian Ware and her only brother was Hugh Ware who lived in Ragley, La and was a school board member there for years.
