I am trying to find information regarding WARE(s) in West Virginia. The information I have is sketchy at best and does not go back very far. My Grandfather was Raymond WARE born 22 October 1916 and died 26 October 1993 He was married to Ruby GALFORD (born 1917, died Oct. 1968: Mother was Ocy GALFORD Aug 1893-Nov 1977; Father was Marion GALFORD Sept 1889 - Jan 1970). It has been established that Raymond lived most if not all of his life in Pocahontas County, West Virginia. Word of mouth has it that his father's name was James or John or some derivitive thereof (like I said sketchy at best) and that he died at an early age of a gun shot wound received under suspicious circumstances. Current living relatives have been little assistance, any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
