Regarding the recent discussions concerning Valentine Ware and his descendents, how does Edward Ware who married Letticia Powell and left a will in Amherst Co, VA fit into this family? In the 1704 rent rolls for King & Queen County, Edward, Nicholas and Valentine Ware are listed. I have a William Ware, born in 1805 who moved to Jackson Co, OH about 1830. In another household is listed Elizabeth Ware, apparently a widow, since she has younger children and of the age (born between 1780 and 1790) to be William's mother. William named his first son Anderson, which is a name used in the Amherst County Wares. Can anyone tell me how this ties to the Amherst County Wares? Yvonne Warner
