If you library is interconnected to other libraries (i.e. on line) you should be able to request any book from any library. Your librarian can assist you. It will be easier if you have a university/college in the general area as they do it all the time. I know one genealogist who does this all the time instead of purchasing the books. Also check the LDS FHC to see if they have a copy and they may send it to you if it is on microfilm.
