Philip, No, I don't know where in NC. Census records just list NC for William Weare's birth place. Oral family history says they were from NC on their way to Illinois and decided to stay in Indiana. William and Mary Weare had 9 children, some of the children did migrate west. Some returned to Indiana, but others stayed out west. What is your lineage?
