I periodically post a query for my Wares in the hope that someday I will run into a cousin or two. My James and Asaph Ware (brothers) are descended from Robert Ware of Wrentham/Dedham, Mass and migrated to Wilmington, Windham, Vermont, as some of the first settlers there in 1870's. Early 1800's they moved on to Bolton, New York, and by 1815 James was in Madison, Lake, Ohio with many of his children and grandchildren with him. I believe one of his sons was named Emerson, who married his first cousin Sarah (Sally) Ware, daughter of above-mentioned Asaph. Other suspected or confirmed children of James include Justin Ware, Cynthia Ware, Nancy Ware, James C. Ware, Henry Ware, all of Lake and Geauga counties in Ohio. I believe Asaph left Bolton and returned to Vermont, but to Rutland County instead of Windham, and possibly died there after 1820. I would love to hear from anyone connected to these lines.
