Nicholas Ware (IV) (Son of No E-1 Nicholas (III) & wife Mary Thompson) lived in Caroline Co., Va., He engaged in a blacksmithing business in that county with a kinsman: Henry Ware, who was a son of Valentine Ware, Jr., a descendent of Peter Ware, Jr (No. C-1) whose line preceded that of the first Nicholas (No. C-2) in this record . This Nicholas (IV) married Dolly Garrett of Caroline Co., Va. and this Henry Ware married Martha Garrett, a sister of Dolly's.
