David Ware, 69 Maintenance Wkr. David Ware, a 35-year resident of Monticello and longtime maintenance worker at the Monticello Raceway, died unexpectedly Friday, April 12, 2002, at the Seelig Division of the Catskill Regional Medical Center in Harris. He was 69 years of age. The son of the late Will Sr. and Lilly Mae Harris Ware, he was born October 23, 1932, in Montgomery, Ala. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Flossie Robinson Ware, at home; a sister, Lilly Mae Watson of Montgomery, Ala.; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two brothers and five sisters. Friends may call at the First Baptist Church of Monticello, Liberty St., Monticello, on Friday from 10 a.m. until noon. Services will be held at noon at the church with the Rev. James Matthews officiating. Cremation was private at the Cedar Hill Crematory in Middle Hope. Memorial contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church, Liberty St., Monticello, N.Y. 12701. Funeral arrangements were made by Ramsay's Funeral Home in Monticello.
