    2. Helen There was a Robert Ware who came to Mass. in the 1600's from England, I think his line is pretty will worked, also there was a Malichi who came from New England to Louisa Co. Va. in the 1700's. My ancester was Peter Ware who is first found in 1646 York Co. Va., I have researched his line for 25 yrs. & have yet to find any documentation as to who his parents were or where he arrived from, I found many claims on the Net. as to who his parents were but none offer any proof. Good Luck Wendell > Hello, > Does anyone on this list know if these WARE'S date back to New England in > the 1600's and Mass. Bay Colony? 3. Wendell, I know exactly what you mean a woman had "documented" and had a book printed and this is where she screwed up my George Ware from 1700's was mistakenly identified and tied in to the Ware line you referred to from Robert Ware. It is another George b. abt. the same time but he was a Dr. had a large family and died in a completely different place and has a monument dedicated to him!! I found the error and can't find out a thing about my George Ware/Wair/Waer, depending on what Town record you view. I have documented back to him but like you I would like to find out more back to Eng. or Ire. I have been told (no proof) that brothers came here and left because of Mass Bay Colonists strong rules, some went to southern states and yet others to Barbadoes. I will keep you in my files and if I find anythong I will send it on to you.
