Hello, Regarding this information on a Mrs. C. BEASON, I am trying to find out if she connects in any way to the BEASON family that was in Alabama and related to a Curtis Grubbs BEASON/BEESON, (I believe this is his correct name,) who married, I believe, Martha/Martha Jane CLARK, daughter of a woman named Mrs. Margaret Susannah LIGHTFOOT COOK/aka KOCH who was the widow of Henry COOK/Heinrich KOCH and then married 2nd husband who was Henry CLARK and Margaret Susannah was the daughter of Philip LIGHTFOOT and, possibly, her mother might have been named Susannah ? This Margaret Susannah LIGHTFOOT COOK/KOCH CLARK, born: abt. 1765 in either VA/onboard ship to Antigua or in Antigua where her family is believed to have been from abt. 1763 to abt. 1773 and is believed to be the sister of a Martha/Martha Jane LIGHTFOOT that may be my maternal 4th great grandmother, Martha Jane Dorsey?/Dorcy? LIGHTFOOT, born: abt. 1763, and married in abt. 1781 to Absalom LOTT, son or grandson of Elizabeth JOYNER, born: 1720 in Isle of Wight Co., VA, (daughter of Elizabeth BROWN(E,) (daughter of John BROWN(E,) and John JOYNER, (son of Bridgeman JOYNER and wife, Ann HARRIS, daughter of Ann MARTIN and Thomas HARRIS, (son of Alice WEST and Thomas HARRIS,) and John LOTT. There is a WATTS family that is related to the LOTT family that was living in Newton County, MS in the 1800's and I just found this next information over on: http://www.rootsweb.com/~jecain/ware046.htm Containing information about the previously mentioned Mrs. C. BEASON. I am not aware of the WARE's family connection if any to the above but think it is quite possible that this Mrs. C. BEASON might be related. Please see the following information: Maj. Ware's second marriage to Mrs. C. Beason, occurred on June 3,1900, and a good woman is bowed in deep sorrow over her irreparable loss, but the grief is assuaged in some degree by the loving attention givenher by the children in the home that is so saddened. A loving sister,Mrs. Bettie Carr, of Gilbert, the last of a large family of children, mourns the loss of an only brother. ******* In addition, I have just found information that a William SPRADLEY is most likely the man who married Mary McCAIN and were the parents of my maternal 3rd great grandmother, Nancy SPRADLEY, in abt. 1816 in Newton Co., MS, who married Hiram McCARTY, my maternal 3rd great grandfather, who were the parents of my maternal 2nd great grandmother, Martha Ann Caroline Matilda? "Caroline" McCARTY who married William Tunley JONES, (CS,) (son of Alson Bluford "Gip" JONES, (son of Benjamin JONES, immigrant in abt. 1802 from England to Mobile, Alabama, with wife: ??, who later moved to Choctaw Territory, and Alson's wife, Malinda EVANS, daughter of Panther/"Panther" EVANS, all somehow related to Alson Bluford "Gip" EVANS. >From William Tunley JONES and Martha Ann Caroline Matilda? "Caroline" McCARTY I descend from their daughter, my maternal grandmother, Rodella "Della" JONES, born: 1868 in Winn Parish, Louisiana, who married Cicero Lamkin HATTEN, (son of Frances Elizabeth GRISHAM, born: abt. 1840, (daughter of Elizabeth Ann FORD and Jehu Madison GRISHAM,) and Frances's 1st husband, Lawrence M. HATTEN, (CS/died POW,) (son of William HATTEN, born: 01 Jan 1800 in Tar River, Nash Co., NC, and 1st wife who was Frances Lucretia "Patsy" LOTT, born: abt. 1802 in AL, (daughter of the aforementioned Absalom LOTT and wife, Martha Jane Dorsey?/Dorcy? LIGHTFOOT, born: abt. 1763, md: abt. 1781,) and Frances Elizabeth GRISHAM's 2nd husband was Zachary Taylor LOTT.) William HATTEN's 2nd wife was Anna NETTLES. And William HATTEN's father was Lewis Lamkin HATTEN and his mother was Sarah "Sally" UNDERWOOD. Lewis's 2nd wife was Frances "Fannie/Frannie" DUJACKNEY/seen as DEW and VIVERETTE but was related to the DEW and VIVERETTE lines. Sarah "Sally" UNDERWOOD was the daughter of Jacob UNDERWOOD, son of Thomas (2) UNDERWOOD, son of Thomas (1) UNDERWOOD, and Jacob's wife, Hannah CLARKE, daughter of Jean ? and Robert CLARKE, born: 1688 in Edgecombe Co., NC. Interested in whether this CLARKE family connects to the CLARK(E) family of Henry CLARK(E) that married as the 2nd husband of Margaret Susannah LIGHTFOOT COOK/KOCH and were the parents of the Martha/Martha Jane CLARK(E) that married Curtis Grubbs BEASON. My LOTT - LIGHTFOOT - GRISHAM - HATTEN - McCARTY - SPRADLEY - EVANS - JONES descended grandmother, Ethel Rosalea HATTEN, married into WOMACK, not my lineage, and then SLAUGHTER, and then my mother married my father from the MYRICK - HERRINGTON/HARRINGTON, GRANTHAM, AMMONS?, STUCKEY, PIERCE, DICKENS/DICKINS/aka DICKSON and DICKERSON and PARKER, LEWIS, (BRIGHT,) (COLEMAN,) ELLZEY, COPELAND, TUCKER lines that may also connect with some of these others. Looking forward to hearing from anyone who might have some more of the pieces. Thanks. Sincerely, Bellinda Myrick - Barnett MYRICK List Administrator

I am reposting my Ware family interest. I am hoping someone might have the Ware connection that I need. This is what I know: Manning Ware born April 09, 1818 in possibly Bolton, New York. Manning Ware married Mary Jane Maynard(Mainard) of Hubbardton Vermont on January 03, 1839 in Sudbury, Rutland Vermont. The following information was sent to me: WARE MANNINGS Rutland County VT 195 Castleton Federal Population Schedule VT 1850 Federal Census Index VTS6a3061721 Manning Ware married Mary Jane Maynard(Mainard) of Hubbardton Vermont on January 03, 1839 in Sudbury, Rutland Vermont. I found a census record for Manning Ware in Pittsfield, Lorain, Ohio dated 14 June 1860. He was not listed in the 1870 index. He was listed for the Camden, Lorain, Ohio dated for the 1870 census. The census lists his occupation as a blacksmith. Manning and Mary Jane are buried in Camden Twp. Cemetery in Lorain Co. Ohio. Manning died in 1880 and Mary Jane died in 1896. Manning and Mary Jane had the following children: Martha Ware (My ggrandmother) October 10, 1848 Susan Ware 1842 Dallas Ware 1846 Cordelia Ware 1852 Willie Ware 1858 I believe that there might be an Ashtabula Co. Ohio connection also. Any help would be appreciated in identifying Manning's parents or siblings. Thanks, Jim Taylor of Warren,Ohio

Hi Leonard Your letter sounds encouraging. Can you give all of us some more info to help untangle the WARE maze. We have multiple Dudleys and Malachis. Do you have info on parents and wives of your Dudley and Malachi. My Malachi was married to a Jane Duncan when he came to what became Marion Co IL in 1818. His son spelled his name Malachijah in an extensive journal that he kept. He did not mention any previous wives. Thanks J. Ray Young
Please keep at least a couple of us in mind. We both have Malachi WARE's and Dudley Ware's in the family. We are all trying to find the connections. :)) Peggy in CA
