There are 64 pictures, mostly of the George Ware Didlake/Nannie Bain family, but one or two are earlier Ware pictures (there is a picture of Abram Ware and a couple of Catherine Elizabeth Ware Didlake). Quite a few of the pictures are not identified. I e-mailed the U of KY and requested copies and just today I received them in the mail, for only the cost of copying and shipping. Let me know off the list if you're interested and I'll tell you the website address (I'm not sure they would appreciate it if they were inundated with requests!) Ginny North ginnybear2@cs.com

She was married to a fellow by the name of Henry James and they lived in the Verda community. After the birth of my grandmother Nellie Mae James, Molly suffered a nervous breakdown and was commited to Central State Mental hospital in Rapides Parish, LA. As far as we have been told, this is where she died also. Since she outlived Henry James, and possibly my grandmother, we do not know where she is buried or anything about her family. Any information that you can provide will be greatly appreciated. rodney@portablesuperstore.com

There is a long line of Ware's descended from Richard "Dickie" and Mary "Polly" (Wilson) Ware out of Valley Head, WV. If you could go back one more generation, I'm sure we could help you connect your line.

    3. I guess I may be way out, but, which Ware are You? And where are they? I am at a loss. My grandfather was born in VA in Sept. 1859. He married my grandmother in Greenville, MO in 1891? (Court House burned, 1892-3) He died 1901? no death certificate. My grandmother with 3 small children moved to TN near her sister. This is all I know of my grandfather. So I am grabbing at straws when I asked you about your family. Mildred Ware Legg-born in TN, married a KY fellow. Lived in Ky nearly 40 yrs. Now we are in FL, retired.
