I found that the names Nicholas Ware, Rev. Robert Alexander Ware, Henry Ware Jr. Robert Garrett Ware, repeates over and over again. This leads me to believe that the story may be true that the Ware Family came to the United States from England and settled in the South. I've found places like Caroline Cty VA, Edgerfield Cty SC and Wilkes County which is now Lincoln County GA. and more. I know my ggrandfather was a blonde haired, blue eyed white complexed man, whos name was Claude Ware (Hawes), using his mother's last name Hawes (Cherri Lee Hawes) a Black/ Black Cherokee woman. Claude married Daisy Smalley said to have also been of Cherokee, she had two sisters Kate, Emma (Pullet or Ella) and two brother Coty, Berton. Claude and Daisy shearcropped on the land of Ben or Bill Timmerman in GA, they had ten children. If your research has brought you or will bring you to some of these nam! es, please let me know, there are lots of missing links. Thank You..............LOST!

    3. I am looking for a William Ware born Floyd Co. GA 7April 1864/5 I have a picture taken of him by a photographer in Dallas and signed by him and dated 1921. He was the youngest sibling of my great grandmother. I have come across a William Ware who married a Minnie Lee Smith in @ 1892. They are in the 1900 and 1910 Census in Collin County McKinney Texas. By the 1920 Census the couple had moved to VanZandt Co. and William was the proprietor of an electric Company. She is born 1868. There don't seem to ever be any children but her Sister Rhoda is living with them in 1900 and then her brother T.W. is living with them in 1910. They are alone in 1920 Does any of this sound familiar to anyone? Thanks Kathleen

Surnames: WARE Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/JYVBAIB/1301.1.1 Message Board Post: Hi Judy, On a recent census I located (1920), I discovered "my Willie" as being the wife of Clarence Lamb. She puts her age as 32 (which would make her birth year 1888), She was born in Texas. Her father and mother are both shown as being born in Mississippi. I also located a recent IGI record showing a Willie Maude Ware born on 4 Jan 1888 in Wilson, Texas. Father was Napolin Barnypart (as spelled on the IGI) Ware, and mother was Heneretta Cybell Gillespie. I cannot locate either her father or mother in any census or other IGI or death records, so I'm a bit suspicious of the information. Clarence "Jack" Lamb has confirmed his mother's name of Willie Ware in three different documents I've received, and the middle name of "M" was listed in one document. As far as the information that came from family, that Willie Ware Lamb died in Arizona, that could still be true. It's also possible she died in Texas, so I'm keeping an open mind. It's also possible that her birth year is 1886 and not 1888... so we might still be linked somehow. The SSN application for the Willie who died in Texas, has not arrived yet. When it does I'll let you know what it says on it. Good luck in your search, and keep in touch.

Surnames: Ware, Carmical Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/JYVBAIB/1301.1 Message Board Post: My grandfather Robert Erskine Ware had a sister named Willie Virginia Ware and she was born in December 1885 in Nash, Ellis County, Texas. Nash is no longer in exsistance. I have no other information on Willie, we don't know who she married or whatever happened to her. She was the 2nd child of 4 born to William Edgar Ware and Hannah P. Carmical. Both Wm. and Hannah were brought to Cleveland/Bradley Counties in Arkansas, Wm. from SC and Hannah from GA, to Arkansas as young children, raised there and married one another there, but moved to Ellis County, Texas in 1883 right after their marriage. Hannah died in 1899 and for a short time, her and her younger sister Carrie Elizabeth "Lizzie" lived with their grandparents Wm. and Sarah Ware in Jones/Shackelford Counties Texas in 1900. She is on the census there. After Wm. Edgar remarried he must of went and got the girls back from his parents, as they are shown with him on the Navarro County, Tx. Census 1910. Do you think ! your Willie and my Willie are one in the same?

    3. Yeah, true about viruses, but it seems every new one gets thru. That is what is so aggragating. Thank God for a Mac, so far, so good. Everything keeps getting caught, I guess since not much goes after us. Notice how nothing on Richard Ware has shown up? Where in the world did he come from and why does no one have a missing Richard in deeds, wills, etc. anywhere in the right area? Could he have changed his name when he came to the frontier? It doesn't seem so, but I am sure that is what happened with my husband's Bullman in the 1800 time frame. He was very educated, etc. just not a typical frontiersman, and he gave no tradition of where he was from or his family background. We don't even have a tradition of ethnic origin. I think he might have been a Bowman, but that is just a guess. Just cleaned out the freezer part of fridge. Husband did not get door shut totally yesterday at noon as something had slid down--so he says. What a mess. I think I am going shopping for a side by side, tired of bending over to get to part that you always get in all the time. I sure don't want this mess again. It was around 8 in the eveniing before I found there was a problem. Scared to death I had lost the whole thing, but it was freezing ice cubes by the time I went to bed, so I know what happened. Always something. Just has ruined my whole day, cleaning out a freezing section and throwing away all the stuff that had migrated to the back. Feel sorry for me? Warming up finally. almost froze the last 3 days. We set records for cold this time. Week before set records for heat, and then this week for cold. What in the world is going on with the weather. I know a front is coming, but I don't think we are going to get any rain. Disgusting. If you step on the grass, it breaks, so I have orders to stay out of the sacred yard. Jean
