My John WARE had the following siblings: Henry, Mary, Jane, Martha Ann, Samuel, Sarah, and Nancy all born and raised in KY
Is anyone related to Harvey Cornelius WARE last known living in Kansas City, KS in 1942. He was born about 1880. He was son of John WARE and Harriet Cummings. John WARE was son of my Harvey WARE born about 1817. The reason I would like to find Harvey Cornelius WARE's family is since he was named after his grandfather, there is a chance he knew of the origin of the family. Maybe he inherited a family Bible.....In his mothers obit. he was called "Nealy" so perhaps that is the name he would be known by. Harvey Cornelius "Nealy" WARE married Emma Troxell in 1903. Thanks
KVanlan - Have you tried to access any of the KC papers to see if they are online? Remember that KC straddles both Missouri and Kansas. Another source of help would be to write (email if they are online) to the Genealogy Society of the surrounding areas of KC and for a small fee they will do research for you. In their records the obits could be there. Sheryl WARE Tuck

Hi, Does your book show a Calvin Clay WARE b 1843; m Mary Elizabeth KIRTLEY (b 1847)? My guess is he was born somewhere across VA, KY or MO. I know he lived in MO. Thanks. Lauren
Pete, According to information that was sent to me, it appears quite possible that Abraham Waier was a descendent of the Wares of Dedham. Information on Ocean Township states that Abraham was an early settler and a member of the Rogerines [Quaker Baptists] who came here in 1739 after being expelled from Connecticut. As for the Morris County Waer's we're still in the process of hunting. I have a Timothy Waer who married a Sarah McGill sometime before 1801, but no connection yet to either the Ocean Twp. nor the Dedham Ware's. I have a GED file and a text file of the lineage of Robert Ware of Dedham based on what appeared in the NEHGS on my home page if you think it might be of some use. The descendents of Robert Ware scattered all along the eastern seaboard, so I wouldn't be surprised to find some in New Jersey. Mine went to Vermont, then to Bolton, New York for a few years, then on into the Western Reserve to help settle northeastern Ohio. I will browse through my Ware book to see if there are any mentions of movement to New Jersey.

I have traced back to John J WARE b 1823 Boston d 1883 Dorchester m Dorcas Davis. His parents are George & Mary B WARE but I have no vitals for George (can't even find where he is buried!) Mary was b 1799 Ireland & d 1864, listed as widow of George WARE. I have no idea if they are related to the Dedham WARES but sure would like to know! Any help is greatly appreciated!! Thank you again for this wonderful offer! Cathy Brewer
Pete, There are a few of us here in New Jersey attempting to track down various Waer's [Ware, Weir, etc.] It appears that in NJ there were concentrations of Waer's in Morris County and in Ocean County (Waretown). There is also a large contingent of Ware's that were originally from Dedham, Mass. I know that this isn't much to go on, but I hope that it helps. Let me know if you have any questions. Thank you, sir. I appreciate your kindness !!! (Desiree de Nantes)
None of the several ladies named Elizabeth Ware mentioned in the book seem to fit the description you are seeking. Sorry. Larry Wilson
