I am descended from two of their sons, James Ware and Edward Ware, Jr. I have quite a bit of data on this family and would like to know if anyone knows who Edward's father was. I have read that his father was a Nicholas Ware, but there were alot of Nicholas Wares in early Virginia! Would certainly enjoy hearing from descendants. If you are still under the impression that Mr. Wilder's book has the correct lineage from this family YOU NEED TO WRITE TO ME!!! John H. Could someone with the "Ware book" please look for a Deborah Ware born in VA sometime before 1850 (her first child was born in 1869). She married Solomon Jackson and the family moved to IN. She had more than a dozen children including Emma Jane Jackson, b. 14 May 1869, also Marion Jackson and Arvila Jackson. I cannot seem to find any information about her and I would like to know her ancestors. Right now, she is the only Ware in my tree! Thanks, Lynn Sachs
Charlotte: I checked all four variant spellings and there are no women named JUNE listed. THere are many, many named Margaret. Need more information on her -date of birth, name of father, spouse, etc. Larry
The book covers a wide time frame of early 1700s up to and including 1900s. I checked and it did not list your Charles Wear. Larry
Looking for the families of John Styles CARTER and Ann WARE. I do not know the birthdate or place of either one. They had at least one child, the Reverend John Wesley Ware CARTER who was born in Clermont Co Ohio on 25 Nov 1819. I would like any info on the parents, siblings, or other family members of John and Ann. Any connections please contact me. Kathleen [email protected]
Do you have a June M. Ware and a Margaret Ware? I can't seem to find them anywhere. It's like they dropped off the face of the earth. Thank You kindly Charlotte [email protected] wrote: > Hello: > > For a moment, I thought I might be able to help you, but cant locate your > Nancy. Larry, What areas of the country and time frames does your book cover? My WEARs began with Charles WEAR immigrating to New Jersey, Elizabeth, Union Co, to be exact, in 1871. He was born in Hawick, Scotland, in 1847. I am wondering if any of his ancestors preceded him. Thank you! Ruth Ryan, St. Augustine, FL, [email protected]
Hello, I also want to add something to what Larry said pertaining to the name of Nancy. I don't know why, but "Nancy" was a familiar (family) nickname for women named Agnes and Eleanor back in the late 1790's and the turn of the century. Maybe there was a famous person named Agnes or Eleanor in history who was called "Nancy" and this accounts for it??? Whatever the case may be, you may want to try looking for either of those two names and seeing if you can find a match. Good Luck. Sandy Sturdivant << Hello: For a moment, I thought I might be able to help you, but cant locate your Nancy. I am a Wear \ Weir descendant and my ancestors lived in McMinn County.
