    2. Ray, I dont know why there couldnt be a son named Malachi. It is interesting to note that Malachi Ware married Elizabeth Betty Brown 22 Aug 1783 Louisa County, VA. At least two of the children were born BEFORE this marriage--Wilson Ware who married 1803 Permelia Gunter and my Mary 'Polly' Ware who married Thomas N, Gunter in 1799. I see no reason why there couldnt be a connection here somewhere and probably right at our fingertips. :) Peggy in CA

    3. Peggy Could my Malachi be the son of your Malachi's first wife??? That would solve the issue that some have proposed that Malachi and Betty Brown did not have a Malachi. In other works my Malachi would be only a half brother to Dudley. Thanks J. Ray

I've just looked up an obituary for George Washington Ware who was Absalom's youngest son. He died in 1926. The obituary said that he had lived in Jonesboro for 40 years so that would mean that he moved here in 1886. I know that he was the first to move to NE Arkansas and that my great-grandfather, Horace, came later around 1890.

    1. Re: [WARE] Wares in Northeast Arkansas and from McMinnville, TN (ie: Absalom Ware)
    2. eneration No. 1 1. PETER1 WARE1 was born Abt. 1720 in Virginia. He married SUSANNAH RANDLE2 Bef. 1750 in Brunswick Co., Va., daughter of JOHN RANDLE and MARY ?. Notes for PETER WARE: Birthdate is extimated on the basis of the known date for Susannah. In "Marriage Records of Brunswick, Va., 1730-1852 by A.B. Fothergill, 1953, Susanah Randle is shown to have married a Ware, given name not specified. Later documents prove this to be Peter Ware. Peter Ware is named in various legal documents in Brunswick Co., until the sale 28/10/1771, whereby he and Susannah sell to John Atkin, of Northampton, N.C., the property she received from her father (Deed book 10, pg. 244-246) By 03/01/1780, Peter Ware is in Anson Co., N.C. On that date he sells to Geo. Brewer of Halifax Co. 100 acres on Beaver Pond in Northampton Co., N. C. for 1400 pounds, witnessed by Roland Ware and others. In 1782 tax records for Montgomery Co., N.C. includes a Peter Ware with 150 acres, with Roland Ware(unmarried) and a Thomas Ware, othe r children are listed along with 3 cousinsPeter Ware is noted in District 4, Mont. Co. in 1787. This is the last record found that documents Peter Ware's presence. Notes for SUSANNAH RANDLE: Susannah death is noted in the William Morgan Family Bible. "She died in 98th or 99th year of her life." This statement is probably in error, since it would indicated a birthdate of 1720, while information from other sources have her born about 1728. Her parentage is establishedby a gift of love from John Randle to his daughter, Susannah ware, of the plantation on which she lived with the 163 acres adjoining (Brunswick Co., Va. Deed Book 4, pg. 125). On Oct. 28, 1771 this same land is sold by Peter Ware and Susannah, his wife (Brunswick Co., Va., Deed Book 10, pg. 244) Children of PETER WARE and SUSANNAH RANDLE are: 2. i. ROLAND B.2 WARE, b. 01/01/1760, Brunswick Co., Virginia; d. 15/06/1864, McMinn County, Tennessee(South Liberty Cemetary). 3. ii. SARAH WARE, b. 25/12/1765, Virginia; d.
