My Wards ere to have come out of Virginia to NC, GA, AL (where my missing link remains missing) then on west to MS, AR,TX. My Grandfather George William Ward had red hair (I am told) he had gone totally grey before I remember him. His eyes were a light ice blue. Three of his sons had red hair. Two sons and both daughters had dark brown to almost black hair. The two dark haired boys had deep brown eyes while the girls eyes were blue/hazel. I remember two of my grandfather's sisters, one had brown hair and hazel eyes while the other had blue eyes, but her hair had also lost its color before I was old enough to remember. The only pictures I have seen of my Ggrandfather were black and white, but I will ask around about his hair color and eyes.
