There is an Ezra Ward in Alabama in the 1840s and on, and an E.B.Ward in Tallapoosa County1840 to 1855. I believe the Ezra name I have seen was in Dale, Greene counties, anyway I culled them because they were down on the coast and South Alabama where the Wards I am searching for were east central moving northwest. Ther was an Ezra J. Ward in Lauderdale County Ala in 1900 Census page 173B. I hope this helps some.
