    2. Michael Ward
    3. Rita, this is very interesting to some of the people on this list, who are descended from Richard Ward and Joyce (Trafford) Ward of Stretton, Rutland. Richard died about 1635 and Joyce and some of their children emigrated to Connecticut. But some of their children stayed in Stretton, including some boys who may be ancestors of your Thomas. Stretton and Clipsham are very near to each other. Michael Ward -- (who is NOT related to Joyce, but thought I'd mention this connection for others) [email protected] wrote: > > Subject: > > WARD-D Digest Volume 00 : Issue 151 > > Today's Topics: > #6 new subscriber [[email protected] (Rita.Eff] > Subject: new subscriber > Date: Sat, 1 Jul 2000 13:09:33 +0200 > From: [email protected] ([email protected]) > To: [email protected] > > My Ward interest begins with the birth of Thomas in 1740 in Greetham, Rutland. > He married Alice Dexter 1767 in Clipsham.
