I have a family history sheet, passed down to me by my Uncle Ray Ward. He list Maggie Ward b. aft 1875 in Cartecay, Gilmer Co Ga, there is a note after her name died at birth of 1st child. Could this be your Maggie Ward? I know there were Johnston's living in the area, as my GUncle Thomas Edwards widow married a Johnston. I would have to look this up to be sure. This Maggie Ward's parents were Hampton Percival Ward and Caroline V Edwards. Let me know if you think we may have a match.
