Have been researching John Ward from Ireland. Believe he came on the ship American in 1803 April 4 from Londonderry do not know who he married as on his son's Thomas death certificate they have maiden name unknown.for mother. The family was in Tippecanoe Indiana for their son,Thomas's birth around 1826-1836. Have lost the family after that, but believe they came to California, as Thomas Ward caught the wagon train in Cal. to Wash.State.There Thomas married Carrie Phlug Scoggin around 1870.
