Hey, Guys!!!! Don't forget about me!!!! I have been looking for a Thomas Ward - my grandfather - forever and 50 years. According to census records, he was born in TN. I have no idea about his family. I could belong to one of ya'll. He was born 4/15/1849 in TN and died 3/3/1919 in Lee County, MS. He is buried with his wife, Ada Estes, in the Saltillo Cemetery, Saltillo, Lee County, MS. There was some family rumbling at one time about a Nat Ward from Itawamba County, MS, who married a Catherine Whitten; it was said that he was a earlier family member as well. I KNOW that every male Ward on earth is named Thomas, but I wanna be family too! Let me hear from you! Bebe Roper Byerly Do you have any more info? I am looking for a Ward brother in this general area around the same time frame. The ones I am looking for came out of Virginia, did your Edward? One of these brothers was an Edward. The story was there were 5 or 6 brothers, one went to Tennessee, one went to the Carolina's, then on to Georgia , and the others to Georgia then on to Alabama (Where I want to find them) Some settled in Miss. and Arkansas. Family stories tell that the Ward Drug Chain in Texas was from this set of brothers. Do you think we have a match? Inga
