Inga, I've a possible WARD from TN who settled in Alabama. She's Rachel (first name may also be Alla) WARD, b 1804 TN, m William WEEMS (1801 SC) and settled in Greene Co, AL. They're there from before 1830 until aft 1855. I don't know what happened to them. Next door in the 1850 Greene Co census is Mary WARD (1783 SC) and her (presumed) widowed daughter, Catherine Ward EDWARDS (1806 TN). Any of these familiar?
