I grew up in the Baytown area and attended schools in the Goose Creek Consolidated Independent School District. Actually, three towns (Pelly, Goose Creek, and Baytown) were consolidated into one in 1948, and the new city took the name Baytown. Baytown is east of Houston on I-10. Glenda Rodgers Wyatt
