Due to the hair and eye coloring and connections with Hills, I went back and discussed this with my dad who remembers his grandmother. I have found a few more dates. William Thomas Ward b. 5-8-???? to 9-3-40 married Mary V. Pruitt 9-10-???? - 10-4-1960. They had 7 children: William Henry Ward b. 1913, Annie Elizabeth Ward 03-19-11 - 04-05-76, Louise Ward Wilson, Sadie Ward Walker, Robert Thomas Ward 1927 - 10-11-1983 (served in WW 2 but kept going AWOL), Peggy Ward Burch (left home as a young adult and was last heard from in Las Vegas) and Vernon Ward. Almost all are were red haired and blue eyed. Red hair was on both sides of the family both Wards and Pruitt. Annie Elizabeth Ward married my grand father, Alfred David Hill. His g-grandfather, Thomas W. Hill, came from Scotland with 2 brothers. The brothers went west and were never heard from again. If anyone can connect to either of these families, please let me know.
