Bill, I don't have any similar names in my database although I know some of "my" Wards moved to Illinois. I just haven't gotten that far in my research. I've actually been working from the older to the newer, which is the opposite of what most people do. I was given our family tree that covers up to the 1890s. Anyway... I'm curious how the name Caldwell fits into your line. I have Caldwells too. I have a great aunt named Elizabeth Caldwell Ward (1880-1972) who never married. I am descended from her brother, Henry Davis Ward (1886-1949) and I know relatives of her other sibling, Allan McLane Ward (1888-?). I doubt if we have a match here but I'm always curious when I see the Ward and Caldwell names in the same list!
