There has never been, to my knowledge, any thing to directly link John Ward & Seth Ward to one another in the documents that exist today. Also there is no proof that these John Wards are one & the same. Brenda

You may very well be right on that,Brenda.I thought I had seen it(John being Seth's father) somewhere - will have to look again and let you know if I do find something.I'm off to the library again tomorrow.I didn't find anything either to show that those Johns were the same person.Have you ever sent for the papers from the Jamestown Society?
