Harold, I saw where you have Wards, in Chambers Co. Al. My Wards were in Randolph Co., right next to Chambers, so wondering if there might be a connection. Mine was Wilson Lumpkin Ward, born about 1842 in Al., he was married to Emily Caroline Hodges. His father was a William Ward, and mother, Clarissa Pearson. I don't have any birth or death dates for William, but I know that he and Clarissa were married about 1834 in Fayette Co. Ga. Do you think there might be a connection to yours anywhere?
