    3. My WARD families (family?) in Ohio is connected to the COCHRAN family, as follows: George W. Cochran & his wife Mary Sutherland had 4 children, two of whom married into the WARD family: 1. Sarah Cochran (born 02 October 1799 in Virginia) married James Hemphill (born 10 November 1790 in Tyrone, Ireland). 2. George Cochran (born 07 August 1807 in Berkeley Co., West Virginia) married Hannah Ward (see her info below). 3. Nancy Cochran (born 10 February 1812 in Pickaway Co., Ohio) married William Franklin Ward (born 29 September 1807 in Allen Co., Ohio). 4. Nathan Cochran (believed to be son of George & Mary; born Abt. 1815 in Holmes County, Ohio) married Eliza Ann Nichols. Hannah WARD: Born Bet. 1800 & 1815 (Source: 1830 - Fifth Census of the United States) bet 1800 and 1810 is her estimated birthdate - no location given. I suspect they may have been cousins or siblings. Has anyone any information that might clear-up their ancestry? Any information about them at all? I'm grasping for straws here <grin>. (I'd appreciate any COCHRAN information as well .... <grin> as long as I'm asking).
