Abijah Ward m. Rhoda Denham 11/28/76. LDS File# 8502401 John Ward m. Sophia Regan 4/28/1788 LDS File#8502401 Cornelius Ward, son of Abijah married Barbara Ferguson of VA. (Info from NSDR library.) This family went to Friendsville, Allegany Cty, Maryland where they had a son Samuel Ward m. Mary House 11/10/1806. Mary was the daughter of Andrew House, Revolutionary Spy LDS #7725801. Samuel and Mary lived in MD. until approximately 1811 when they went to Columbiana Cty, Ohio. Then they settled in Knox County Ohio and lived there until approximately 1844 when they went to Pike Cty. Illinois. Samuel and Mary had the following children: Cornelius b. Md. 1809 m. Mary Riddle in Knox Cty, Ohio Andrew m. Malinda Pryor in Pike County. Abijah John m. Rhoda Enlow in Knox Cty, Ohio in 1842. James Samuel m. Jane Pryor Issac Christopher b. Ohio 1828 (Census record) m. Mary Pryor 1 Apr 1847 in Pike County Rachel m. John Davis in Ohio Elizabeth m. Cornelius Leven Mary Jane After Samuel and Mary moved to Pike Cty, Samuel fell of his horse in 1844. Mary lived many years longer, dying in Adams Cty, Il. I cannot prove that I am related to this family but I do have more information about the next generation if anyone is interested.
