    3. Peter I will keep an eye out for a David Ward in my research. At this point in time I would say there is no David, but one never can tell. There appears to be quite a few Wards around the Banbury area. Will keep a check. Thanks Peter. 1. Irish Wards from ohio
    2. Sometime ago I entered some information on a Thomas Ward, who's father was John Ward, mother's name unknown. I found out from a 1910 census of Thomas Ward that John was born in Ohio possibly around 1820s and his wife was born in Indiana. Possibly around the same era. Perhaps there are Wards from Ohio that are Irish. Drop me a line. Judy Ward

    3. Bill, I don't have any similar names in my database although I know some of "my" Wards moved to Illinois. I just haven't gotten that far in my research. I've actually been working from the older to the newer, which is the opposite of what most people do. I was given our family tree that covers up to the 1890s. Anyway... I'm curious how the name Caldwell fits into your line. I have Caldwells too. I have a great aunt named Elizabeth Caldwell Ward (1880-1972) who never married. I am descended from her brother, Henry Davis Ward (1886-1949) and I know relatives of her other sibling, Allan McLane Ward (1888-?). I doubt if we have a match here but I'm always curious when I see the Ward and Caldwell names in the same list! James was the son of William and Paishant (Patience) Ward and was born at Barford St John in 1794. James had a sister named Charlotte, also born in Barford St John. 1. Ward-Rowe, Maryland
    2. Debbie Franklin-Krauss
    3. I have Wards marrying Rowes, too. John Kitchen Rowe married Elizabeth Ward sometime during the 1790's. They lived in Hereford Maryland, about ten miles south of PA and north of Baltimore. Then John K. Rowe's daughter, Caroline Ward Rowe married Thomas Ward in 1837 in Baltimore County. This Thomas Ward was of the family of Thomas Ward who was a silversmith and clock maker in Baltimore. Does anyone connect with these families?
